Planter Palooza Finishes with Success

 The Juniata Cultural Arts Committee and Hunters Run Nursery presented Crossroads Pregnancy Center with checks that totaled $1068.00 raised through the 2013 Mifflintown Planter Palooza. 20 hand painted planters that were displayed on the Mifflintown sidewalks during the summer were auctioned by Silent Bid at the Juniata County Fair.

People's Choice Award Winner


Rose Shipp of Millerstown was awarded the 2013 Juniata County Fair People Choice Award with her painting in the Oil & Acrylic Class titled "Playful Dolphins". She received the most votes from fair goers that could choose from 356 art and photography entries.
